Welcome to Canton Housing and Redevelopment

Canton Housing and Redevelopment Commission oversees both public housing and voucher programs, if available within Lincoln County South Dakota. The Canton Housing and Redevelopment Commission has existed in Canton SD, Lincoln County for over thirty years. The Agency is funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and governed by local citizens who form a board of Commissioners. The Agency administers the Housing Choice Voucher Tenant Base Assistance Program, or as it is more commonly known: The Section 8 Program and 20 Public Housing Units.

Vouchers are issued for all areas of Lincoln County SD with the exception of the Tea and Lennox area.
